We Will Fight To Maintain Our Premiership Status - Inter Allies

Coach of Inter Allies Football Club, Jimmy Corbblah has said his relegation threatened side will fight to maintain their top-flight status at the the end of the season.


Allies are 13th on the Ghana Premier League (GPL) log at the half way point of the season, and, have been flirting with relegation all season.


However, Coach Corbblah said they hope to change their status in the second round of the competition and believes he has the materials to do that.


“I know the job at hand is a difficult one, but, I trust in the boys to deliver, and, we will keep working hard to improve on our situation during the second round of the season,” he said.


“The boys have been working hard in training awaiting the start of the second round, and, I am confident that they will rise to the challenge when the campaign resumes,” he added.


The Tema based club recorded 15 points from from 15 games at the end of the first round of the league, and, are just one point away from the drop zone.


They will play Sekondi Hasaacas at the Tema Park when the second round of the season begins on the weekend of 25/26 June.
