Basiqi Eyes GPL Glory

Coach of Sekondi Hasaacas Yussif Basiqi has expressed his confidence of winning the Ghana Premier league (GPL) title despite the difficult run of form the team finds itself.

Hasaacas are 10th on the GPL standings 3 points adrift off the relegation zone but Basiqi is confident of turning things around in the second round.

In an interview with Sportscrusader.com Basiqi said : ” we have identified our weakness and we are correct and build on it to put things in the right order, if things work out well, we can challenge for the title or enter the top four which was one of our priority entering into the 2015/2016 campaign.”

“There is long way to go in the second round and my boys are well prepared and poised for the task at hand”, he ended.

Coach Basiqi also emphasize the need for fair officiating of which he had mixed feelings about so far in the 2015/2016 campaign but has entreated fairness in the game of football in Ghana so that it will thrive across boarders because it seems to be one of the factors that has accounted for the low patronage.

Sekondi Hasaacas will on Sunday face of against Ebusua Dwarfs in matchday 18 of GPL at the newly built Cape Coast Sports Stadium and he is confident of securing all three points.
