Pappisse Cisse Boards The Chinese Train.

New Castle United Senegalese center forward Pappisse Cisse has joined the growing list of super stars in the Chinese Super league.


The 31 year old striker traded the Saint James Park for the CSL side Shandong Luneng after a four and half year tenure in English football.


The former Freibeig enigmatic attacker becomes the latest addition to the Asian brand after Brazilian forward Hulk in the past weeks.


Cisse registered 44 odd goals for the Tyneside in a four and year injury ravaged seasons in the Toon army.


The Senegal joins other super stars like Stephanie Mbia, Gervinho, Asamoah Gyan, Paulinho amongst other in a revolutionary move by the Chinese Super league.


The forward will long be remembered for his devilish strikes against Chelsea in a 2-0 win for the St James Park outfit.


New Castle dropped to the second tier of English football despite hiring the services of former Real Madrid and Liverpool trainer Rafa Benitez at the tail end of the season.
