Leicester City versatile defender, Daniel Amartey has admitted pressure adapting to life as an English Premiership player.
Amartey signed for the 2015-16 premiership champions from Danish side, FC Copenhagen in the January transfer window of the previous ended season.
The 22-year-old had a mixed season after making just seven League appearances but was enough to warrant him a premier league winner medal for Claudio Ranieri’s side.
The defender who is yet to join the rest of the squad on training ahead of the new season in an interview with Starr FM, acknowledged the pressure trying to adapt to the League.
“It’s not easy to play in the English premier league but with discipline you can excel. It is one of the toughest Leagues in the World,” he told Starr FM.
“Every player in the League is good and the teams play good football, so I will say is very difficult playing there.”
