Italian Serie A side SS Lazio is leading the chase for the signature of Kevin Prince Boateng after AC Milan, decided not to renew his six month loan deal at the end of the season.
The German born Ghana international returned to AC Milan in the winter transfer window, but has so far failed to nail down a starting berth in the Rosenieri’s set up and look set to continue his nomadic career outside the Guiseppe Meazza.
The 29 year old enjoyed a stellar first stint with the seven times European champions before heading ‘home’ for a dream relationship with Shalke 04 in the Bundesliga, which eventually proved disastrous.
The embattled attacking midfielder has however been offered an escaped route at the Milanelo with a concrete deal from rivals SS Lazio to add to the flurry of offers in the MLS.
Born in Germany to a Ghanaian father, KP Boateng opted for his paternal lineage and featured for the Black Stars both at the 2010 and 2014 World Cup showdowns.
Mlssoccer.com, an official portal for the Major League Soccer, hinted at the imminent arrival of the pop star football at the end of his current deal with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men.
The outspoken midfielder was banned from the Black Stars for his altercations with Management of the Senior National team in the dreadful Brazil fracas.
It is not clear yet as whether the trickery midfielder will prefer to switch camp to the capital based side or head to the MLS for the big money move.
