Black Maidens Hit 10 Past Morocco

The Black Maidens of Ghana scored 10 goals past Morocco to book a ticket to the next Women’s Youth World Cup.

A 4-0 victory a fortnight ago in Rabat gave Ghana the upper hand in return leg, and they took advantage of it to whitewash their Morrocan counterparts by 6-0 in the second leg of the World Cup qualifier to win 10-0 on aggregate to book a ticket for the tournament in Jordan.

Two goals in the first half and four in the second half were enough to earn Ghana the massive win.

Mukaramma Abdulai opened the scoring in the 4th minute before Philicity Aduako made it two before the game ended for the first half.

Substitute Abdul Rahman Barikisu came from the bench to score two goals in the 63rd and 80th minute to make it four.

Captain Sandra Owusu Ansah and Grace Asantewaa fetched the two other goals to complete the 6-0 mauling of the Moroccans at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday afternoon.
