pfaG Wish Black Maidens Well

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (pfaG) has sent a goodwill message to the Ghana U17 female team, the Black Maidens.

The Maidens hold the advantage going into the second leg at Accra Sports Stadium with a 4 nil win from the first leg.

The parent Association of the players is urging the players not to take their legs off the accelerator but grab a qualification to the World Cup.

A release signed by General Secretary Anthony Baffoe says the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) strongly backs the team and hopeful that the players will put the final nail to bury the Moroccans.

” Ghana is strong in women’s football and the Maidens first leg win in Morocco is a testimony. It is now time to show Ghanaians what this team can do thus pfag urges you to eschew complacency and keep your eyes on the qualification ticket.”

“We will be there to support you and the whole nation is with you. The FIFA U 17 Girls World Cup 2016 in Jordan will see Ghana there but the work must be completed first, be determined and do it for us” read the statement.

Ghana had the luxury of having opponents withdrawing before meeting Morocco whom the Maidens white-washed in Morocco in the 1st leg.
