Hasaacas Ladies Pip Ampem Darkoa Ladies 1-0 To Win 2014/15 NWL Championship Title

Hasaacas Ladies have been crowned the Champions of the 2014/15 National Women’s League in Ghana.

Coach Basigi’s side who are the defending champions, beat a very determined Ampem Darkoa Ladies 1-0 at the Tema sports stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Playing a very determined and tactical game, both teams went into the game very confident and managed to create a couple of matches, but wasted all.

The first half ended goalless, and soon after resumption of the second, both teams were at it again forcing their way into each other’s half to get the first goal of the game.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies were slightly on top in terms of ball possession, but the much experienced Hasaacas Ladies did the most important thing of the game and that was to get a goal.

Samira Sulemana against the run of play headed home the only goal of the match from a corner kick in the 30th  minute.
