Ghana forward Dominic Oduro scored for Montreal Impact as they secured a 3-2 away win over Vancouver Whitecaps in the opening day of the Major League Soccer(MLS)
The Ghanaian striker who scored 8 goals last season found the back of the net in the 40th minute after Ignacio Piatt had raced Impact into the lead in the 19th minutes.
Piatt scored his side’s first and last goal for Montreal Impact in the game whilst Oduro scored the second the score also in the first half his after receiving a pass from the Argentine which made them gain all three points. Jordan Harvey and Kendall Waston got the two consolations weren’t enough for the White Caps as they eventually lost.
The 30 year old striker will be looking forward to improve his performance for the Club this season to enable him gain a call in the senior national team.
The striker will play against his fellow Ghanaian compatriot Gideon Baah of New York RedBulls on the Saturday,12 March 2016.
