Wa All Stars number one goalie Richard Ofori has revealed that the hot climate in the Upper West Region of Ghana favours them during premier league matches.
The Wa based club has started league very well with an 8-points accrued from a possible 12 and are yet to record a defeat in the 2015/16 season.
Ofori, who until match week 4 had not conceded a goal admitted the hot temperature turns to play in the favour.
“The goal keeper said, “the weather at times goes against us but quite often to our advantage.”
“we train week in and out in the scorching sun and can’t afford to lose at home to any visiting club. We do pray at times for a hot weather but our tactics and hard work also pays off,” he added.
Ofori has been named in the Black stars squad to face Mozambique later this month in AFCON 2017 qualifier.
