The Ghana Football Association (GFA) wishes to extend a message of goodwill to Medeama SC ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup match with Sudanese club, Al Shendi on Wednesday, April 20 in Essipong.
Medeama have so far been worthy ambassadors of Ghana in the competition, having eliminated their Libyan opponents Al Ittihad Tripoli in the previous round, as well as registering an impressive 0:0 score line in the first leg of this fixture in Sudan a couple of days ago.
As the only Ghanaian club left in this year’s CAF inter-club competitions, the GFA urges Medeama to continue to fly high the flag of Ghana and make it to the group stage of the competition and beyond.
The next hurdle towards achieving this national dream is Al Shendi, and we believe Medeama will surmount this challenge.
