GPL Matchday 13 Preview: Dreams FC v Medeama SC

Debutants Dreams FC, who have not won in their last two games, will host Medeama SC at the Dawu Park. They will be in search of their sixth win of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) campaign against the Yellow and Mauve.

Coach Charles K. Akunnor has come under pressure for a string of poor results lately as they went down to heavy defeats to Chelsea and Aduana Stars in Berekum and Dormaa.

The club’s management have however reposed confidence in the former Ghana captain, and, he will need to step up a gear to calm some of the nerves in their camp.

They will hope to make the most of their home advantage at the Dawu Park where they hold a very good record, winning four of their six games with one defeat and a draw.

Medeama are riding high upon their qualification to the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup, and will have something to say about this.

They have 13 points and sit 12th on the table but, have two games in hand, matches put back to make way for them compete in the continental games.

Confidence in their camp is high, and, they will hope to carry it into this game as they go in search of their first away win of the season.
