English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have announced that Stephane Sessegnon will be leaving the club at the expiry of his contract.
The Baggies announced via their official website that they would not be renewing the 31-year-old’s deal with the club.
Sessegnon made a total of 92 appearances for Westh Brom, scoring eight goals. The Benin international moved to The Hawthorns in 2013, joining the club for what was then a club record fee of £ 6 million from Sunderland.
Another African Victor Anichebe will also be leaving the club. The 28-year-old played 63 times for the Baggies, scoring nine times.
West Brom head coach Tony Pulis told the clubs official website: “The two lads worked really hard for me and were as good as gold.
“Everybody at the Club wishes them all the best in their future careers.”
