Andre Ayew Keen On Champions League Football

Ghanaian international, Andre Ayew has expressed his desire to play Champions League football amid continuous doubt over his future at Premier League side Swansea City.

The Black Stars forward has had an impressive first season with the Wales club, netting 10 league goals since his move from French side Marseille on a free transfer last summer.

But despite his impressive stats, there are reports that the Swans are considering cashing in on the 26-year old as part of their summer rebuilding plans.

Speaking in an interview with RMC, Ayew has admitted that he is keen to play European football next season.

“Whether in the ‘big four’ or in a European club, I have the ambition to regain the European Cup every year that I have experienced with Olympique Marseille,” he said.

“I want to continue to work. I am aware of my qualities, but I do not regret my choice of Swansea. We’ll see if I stay here next season.

“As soon as I arrived, my team-mates gave me responsibilities in the field. I know why I came here but I had other opportunities.

“For me, in Swansea, the club, at the game time, financially, everything came together for me to sign here”, Ayew added.
