Allies Were Unlucky

Jimmy Cobblah eulogised his team’s performance against Asante Kotoko at the Tema sports stadium last weekend, but was sad luck eluded his side on the afternoon.

Bennett Ofori shot the Porcupine Warriors into the lead in the first half after howler from Osei Kwame, but Frederick Yamoah drew level for Inter Allies in the second half with a stunner.

The Eleven Is To One, dominated Asante Kotoko and Jimmy Cobblah, who took over the Tema side deep into the first round of the season believes his outfit fought their hearts out, but were unlucky on the day.

“We dominated both the first and second halves of the game, but we were not getting the goals until the second half. We should have beaten Kotoko, but luck eluded us in the game,” he said.

Inter Allies are lying 15 on the league log with 19 points, after match day 19 of the Ghana Premier League.

Their next outing is a journey to Obuasi to take on defending league champions, Ashanti Gold at the Len Clay stadium.
