Ghana goalkeeper Daniel Agyei has revealed his move to Hearts of Oak fell through after the Accra-based club failed to meet his demands.
Talks between Agyei and the Phobians were thought to be proceeding well since the player’s return from holidays in the Netherlands.
But the expected announcement of an agreement and a signing has yet to happen months after talks begun.
Daniel Agyei has now revealed the deal is off after both sides failed to reach an agreement.
“We had talks with Hearts and we presented a proposal but there was no agreement,” he told Graphic Sports.
“They came back with an offer but was difficult for me to accept it.
“I expected the parties involved to sit down and discuss an acceptable package.”
Daniel Agyei will now remain with Liberty Professionals after the collapse of hi move to Hearts of Oak.
