Good News: Medeama SC Striker Returns From Injury

Kabiru Imoro Returns From Long Injury


Kabiru Imoro, Medeama SC striker, has returned from a long career threatening knee injury  that had kept him out of football for 2-years.


 


The former Real Tamale United (RTU), forward has been out of footballing action for over a season now and the news of him regaining full fitness after suffering a career-threatening knee injury has come as good news for his coach, Tom Strand and his team (Medeama SC).

The Medeama player said in an interview with Accra based radio station, Starr fm, “I suffered the knee injury two seasons ago, but I was given the green light by the medical officers of Medeama to start training. I have started slow runs, and jogging ahead of the season and I am praying I don’t encounter any setbacks in my recovery.”


 

Imoro’s goals and his contributions was instrumental for the yellow – and – Mauves in their Confederation Cup campaign two seasons ago.

Imoro has recovered in time for the start of the 2015/16 Ghana premier league season.
