Chelsea Striker Returns From Injury

Berekum Chelsea Skipper, Sadick Adams will return for his side’s Ghana Premier League Week Nine fixture against Dreams FC at the Golden City Park after missing Wednesday’s 3-1 defeat to Liberty Professionals through injury.


The former Ghana Youth International returned to training on Thursday ahead of the crucial fixture as the Berekum based club seek to continue with their impressive home record.


The experienced forward has been instrumental since joining the Blues in the off season and Chelsea Coach Solomon Odwo will be a relieved man to have his star man back after expressing his disappointment at missing Adams’ services in midweek.


“I miss the services of Sadick Adams today [Against Liberty]. If he were to be here, the score line wouldn’t have been what it was”, Solomon Odwo said after Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat to Liberty in Dansoman.


Sadick has so far four league four goals in the Ghana Premier League is in line to lead the attack of his side on Sunday.


His outstanding performance in the GPL has earned him a call up into the Home Based Black Stars team that will travel to play Japan in an international friendly.
