National Women’s League Week 2 Preview

The Ghana National Women’s League enters its second week with some interesting fixtures pairings across all the league centers in both the Northern and Southern Zones to look forward to.


Defending Champions Hasaacas ladies will hope to make it two wins in two as they embark on a trip to Accra to face Samaria Ladies at the ATTC Park on Saturday.


The Sekondi based side will count on the experience of their internationals in their quest to harness the trophy for the fourth straight time.


Elsewhere in the Southern Zone, Immigrations Ladies will play as host to newly promoted Bafana Ladies at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon while Halifax Ladies squares off against Soccer Intellectuals at the Ajumako Park.







The final game of the Southern Zone will be at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast where Lady Strikers will host Police Ladies.


In the Northern Zone, Subayo Golden Ladies after their Match Day One Humiliation in the hands of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, will play host to Lepo Ladies at the Obuasi Secondary Technical School Park on Saturday.


The Sunyani Coronation Park will be the venue of attraction for Prison Ladies home fixture with Northern Ladies while AshTown Ladies will host leaders Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Prempeh College Park on Sunday.


The final game of the Northern Zone will take place at the WESCO Park in the Ashanti Region where Fabulous Ladies will face off against Real Upper Ladies.
