Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko centre forward, Ahmed Toure has revealed that, he is in negotiations with two Ghana Premier League (GPL) Clubs.
The Coted’Ivoire-born Burkinabe international, was not registered for the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season with Asante Kotoko.
And as a free agent, the 29-year-old is negotiating with two top flight clubs for a possible return to the local front.
“I’m in France now but will be in Ghana next week Saturday or Sunday. I’m currently in talks with two clubs in Ghana, so I will meet the people and discuss terms with them,” Ahmed Toure told Kumasi-based radio station, Boss FM.
He refused to reveal the identity of the clubs, but is certain a deal will go through.
He also promised to light up the season.
“I won’t reveal whether the team is in Kumasi or Accra, but by God’s grace, I will play the second round. If everything goes wll as planned, why not?.
“I have my personal physical trainer who is working to keep me in shape. I’m currently training with a second division team. Before I went to France, I was training with Asec [Mimosas].
“Anytime I come to the Ghana league, I come with a new motivation. I come with a new Ahmed Toure, I come with new football. I have been here three times. In all, I do my job, score and make the people happy.” he said.
