"Unstoppable" Ronaldo Smashes Another Record Yet Again

Cristiano Ronaldo’s 16th Champions League goal of the season means he has now scored 15 goals in European Cup/Champions League quarter-finals, which has beaten the all-time record of Di Stefano.

Now the Portugese international with his decisive third goal, has his fifth Champions League hat-trick, to put him level with Lionel Messi.

The 31-year-old has been in stunning form this season, but he really had to roll his sleeves up for the visit of Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.

Dieter Hecking’s side were leading 2-0 from the Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Volkswagen Arena last week and the pressure was on Zinedine Zidane’s side to seize the initiative and qualify to the next stage of the competition, which they did kind courtesy of the magical Ronaldo.
