Liberty Eyes Four Top Finish

Captain of Liberty Professionals, Samuel Sarfo has said a top-four finish for the side this season is a realistic target.


The scientific soccer lads continued their impressive league performance with a 1-0 win over a Lackluster Hearts of Oak in their week 14 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.


The win moved the Danson based side up 4th on the table and captain maverick, Sarfo who had a great game has a mentioned a top 4 is the target of the season.


“You know last season wasn’t that impressive, so this season we decided to at least put in more effort and up our grade,” he told Ghana Sports Newspaper.


“At the end of the season we are looking forward in making it into the top four. We want to finish in the top four at the end of the season, and the first round is almost ending so we are taking it match after match.


“Not at all, unless we go by our own ways but if we are to comply by what our Coaches will tell us I think we can overtake any of them at the top four, We have been there before so we just have to go by what the Coaches will tell us.”


Liberty’s final game in the first round of the league is at home to bottom placed on the log,  Ebusua Dwarfs.
