Wa All Stars Switch Attention To Kotoko After Chelsea Win

Wa All Stars defender Nicholas Mensah has switched his attention to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after their slim victory over Berekum Chelsea.

The former Tudu Mighty Jets center back is relishing the prospect of completing the double over Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The robust defender rallied his high flying side to silence the Reds on their own backyard when they trek to Kumasi on Wednesday.

Nicholas Mensah envisaged a stern opposition from Micheal Osei’s men when the two sides clash at the Baba Yara stadium.

Wa All Stars consolidated their place on top of the log with a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Wa Park.

“We have already forgotten about the Chelsea win with all attention now focused on Kotoko. We are expecting a stern test from the reds but we are not fazed by their form ahead of the trip. A win in Kumasi is a collective target now”, Mensah told sports crusader.

Richard Arthur registered the only goal for Wa All Stars in a 1-0 win for the host in the first leg at Wa in the penultimate game of the first round.

The Wa based side stayed top of the log with 31 points from 16 games.
