Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), chairman elect, Kudjoe Fianoo says winning the elections to succeed Alhaji Ali Raji is a challenge, he has brought upon himself.
Mr. Fianoo beat off competition from three other candidates, Kofi Poku, Isaac Wilberforce Koomson and Nana Oduro Sarfo to the race on Thursday and he is not excited he won.
“I don’t think there is any excitement. It’s a challenge that you have to come and build this [GHALCA] Association,” Fianoo said.
“I’m not excited. Yes, as a human being I’m happy that I have won but you know that when I look at the challenges ahead, I will say that for now it’s a mixed feeling. I need to ponder over what I need to do, to meet the promises that I have given the delegates.
“The support was overwhelming and I think that shouldn’t get into my head, is rather going to prompt me to work harder,” he added.
“I will not say it in shambles but as the teacher always says, there is more room for improvement. They have done their bit, they could have done better.” he said.
