The Ghanain import for the Major League Soccer outfit enjoyed a productive night at the back for his struggling side at home to the star studded Montreal Impact.
Afful matched the expensively assembled opponents boot for boot before a very late Dominic Oduro’s strike denied them three points on the night.
The ambidextrous fullback marauded the flanks with precision and pearling crosses which resulted in two goals for his side before leaving the pitch with 3 minutes left on the clock.
Ghanaian forward Dominc Oduro, who assisted Ignazio Piati for Montreal ‘s second goal of the night scored on 90 minutes to share the spoils with their host.
