Sweden based Ghanaian midfielder Nasiru Mohamed has set his sight on more laurels, after winning his first ever professional trophy in domestic FA Cup.
The BK Hacken attacking midfielder powered his Allsvenkan side to their cup triumph over Malmo, with the crucial equalizer but has already switch attention to the domestic Championship.
The talented midfielder, played a crucial role for his side across the 2014/15 season and has already hinted at equaling his eight goal tally achieved in the past season.
The 21 year old Ghana Youth international relished the prospect of competing for domestic honours with the the top notch side in the division.
Speaking to sportscrusader.com ahead of their weekends Allsvenkan clash, Nasiru Mohammed said, “winning the Allsvenka cup means a lot to me because it is a big history for my team and me as a player.
It is my first professional trophy so am very happy to have won it especially with my goal playing crucial role in the win”.
On the impact of the win to the entire ahead of the season run in, the midfield general said, “it gives us more courage and motivation moving forward as a unit.
Personally it gives me the confidence ahead of the important part of the season with BK Hacken. It is a day I will always remember in my entire career”.
BK Hacken reincarnated from the 2-0 down to win the Allsvenka cup at the expense of Malmo FF last week.
Nasir Mohamed “Zidane” scored 8 goals from the middle of the pitch last season but missed out on any major silverware.
Ghanaian duo of Baba Mensah and Mohamed Abubakari joined Nasir on the podium for the winners medals as well.
