Andre Ayew Dedicates 10th Premier League Goal To Former Swans Manager

Ghanaian forward, Andre Ayew has dedicated his tenth goal of the 2015/2016 Barclays Premier League to former Swansea Manger Gary Monk.

The 26-year old joined the Walsh club on a free transfer at the beginning of the campaign and has been an instant hit in the Premier League scoring some crucial goals for the Swans.

The Black Stars vice captain scored a brace in his side’s 3-1 victory against Liverpool on Sunday taking his tally to 10 in the Premier League this season and after the game, the former Olympique Marseille man dedicated the goals to Gary Monk who convinced him to sign for Swansea City.

“I think it was a difficult season this year and things were going on but we had a great manager with Garry Monk and I want to dedicate these goals to him because he made me come here and when I was coming he asked me to get 10 goals. So I dedicate my 10th goal to him and the whole squad,” Ayew said in an interview.

In a related development, Reports in England suggest that Swansea City are ready to listen to offers for the Ghanaian in the European summer, having rejected an advance from Sunderland back in January.

Ayew was a subject of transfer speculation to several top European clubs prior to his move to Swansea but after a hugely impressive season in Wales, the forward will certainly not run out of offers this summer.
