Shatta Wale And EL To Perform At Vodafone Unity Match 2016

Newly crowned Vodafone Ghana Music Artist of the year, EL and Ghana’s Dancehall king, Shatta Wale have been billed to perform at the upcoming Vodafone Unity Match 2016 at the Accra Sports Stadium on June 11.


The event, led by former Ghana Black Stars captain and Election 2016 Peace Ambassador, Stephen Appiah is aimed at promoting peace and unity among Ghanaians prior to, during and the aftermath of the elections.


Organiser’s of the match and Ghana’s Sports event giants, Primeval Media, has assembled a galaxy of ex and current footballers who will be led by Appiah to play matches against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and the Asamoah Gyan led Ghana Black Stars on June 8 and 11at the Kumasi and Accra Sports Stadia respectively.


The ‘bi koko bi koko’ hit song maker will thrill fans with his multi talent of rap and singing at the Accra Sports stadium whilst Ghana’s best dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale will also entertain fans to some of his hit songs such as – ‘kakai, chop kiss, ‘bie gya’, ‘hol’ it and so many more.


The event, sponsored by Vodafone, with support from uniBank, Ethiopian Airlines, T.T Brothers, Adidas, NLA, Azar Chemical Industries, Tang Palace Hotel, Kristal Night Club, Special Ice and Starbow Airlines will see Arsenal legend, Sol Campbell, Chelsea great, William Gallas, Nigeria Super Eagles legends, Nwankwo Kanu and Jay Jay Okocha, as well as Manchester United legends, Louis Saha and Dwight Yorke, among other European and African legends, arrive in Ghana for the two matches, aimed at promoting peace and unity as Ghana goes to the polls on November 7.
