Accra Hearts of Oak has filed an appeal to the Ghana Football Association on the Disciplinary Committee ruling to fine them 12,000 Ghana cedis and banned the team from playing before spectators.
The Phobians were slapped with the above punishment last week after the Disciplinary Committee found them guilty of failure to control their fans in a premier league game against Wa All Stars.
Other club officials, Kwame Opare Addo (PRO) and Barimah Atuahene (Board Member) were fined 6,000 Ghana cedis each and banned from all football related issues for two years.
The club is confident the FA DC will temper justice with mercy after the club accepted blame for the actions of the their fans.
