Forget Mistake Or, Soulama Warned

Hearts of Oak legend, Charles Allotey has cautioned the club’s number one goalkeeper, Soulama Abdoulaye to forget the howler that gave Kotoko a win over the Phobians or retire from football.

The Burkinabe international turned a loose ball into his own net after receiving a back pass from Richard Akrofi and, that was the only goal in the game as Hearts lost the three points in a game they were billed to win comfortably.

Allotey who spoke to Sportscrusader.com advised the 36-year-old shot stopper to encourage himself and prove once again what a competent asset he his to the club.

He said, “Soulama should not worry as this is part of the game. Yes it is and was a serious mistake and I must concede that I haven’t seen one before but, he has to quickly pick himself up and forget about it”.

“He is a good goalkeeper and has to forget it else he will have to hang up his boots because it was a painful manner to lose a game,” he added.

Soulama will miss Hearts’ Match-Day 11 clash against Berekum Chelsea after he was sent off for a foul on Kotoko forward, Dauda Mohammed.
