Day two of the National Cycling championship continued at the Burma Camp interchange with Velo stars picking the gold medal in the team time trial in a time of 1h 27m 13 sec. in the 56.6km race.
The Quartet rode an average of 38.99kmh to beat other contesting clubs like Die hard Cycling club, River Pak cycling club and others who competed in the National championship.
Die hard cycling club came second with a time of 1h 29m 54sec, whiles River pak from the Brong Ahafo Region came third with a time of 1h 36m 16sec.
President of the Ghana Cycling Federation Shannon Mohammed who graced the event was full of praise to the clubs, and their cyclists.
He noted that the competition will go a long way to put the cyclists in shape, while ensuring the right cyclists are selected for future tournaments.
On his Part, the Techinical director of the Ghana Cycling Federation Shaban Mohammed said, the World Cycling body UCI has been impressed with the organisation of the championship and lauded the Ghana Cycling Federation for sustaining the sport in the country.
The National championship ends on sunday May 22 with a road race from Accra to Apedwa in the eastern region and Back.
