We Were Lucky To Get All Three Points - Kenechi

Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Kenichi Yatsuhashi has expressed the luck his team had when they beat Sekondi Hasaacas 1-0 in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) Match-Day 12 encounter played in an empty Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Hearts were serving the first of a two match ban handed them by the Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for failing to control their fans during their home game with Wa All Stars on Match-Day nine.

Isaac ‘Messi’ Mensah scored the lone goal for the Hearts with a splendid shot that went past Micheal Abu in post for the visitors, and, they held on unto the end as they posted their seventh win of the season to maintain their leadership of the log.

In a post match interview, Coach Yatsuhashi said, “I am not happy at all, we won the game but we did not play well, when we played well against Kotoko we didn’t get the result because we had no luck, so I can’t complain”.

The Japanese-American also expressed his disappointment towards his players especially in defence where according to him, they displayed some lackadaisical defending which made the game very dangerous for his team.

Hearts of Oak faces an uphill task in their next match when they come up against an in-form Aduana Stars side at Dormaa on Saturday.
