I"ve No Intention To Leave Kotoko-Keeper

Kumasi Asante Kotoko second choice goalkeeper, Felix Annan has revealed to Sportscrusader.com he has no intention to leave the club on loan.

Annan spent the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season on loan with fellow Premier League side, West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) and manned the post as the first choice goalkeeper for the John Killa’s side.

The former Ghana Black Satellites goalkeeper returned to Kotoko a better player as he was immediately elevated to the first choice position under former coach David Duncan but a knee ligament injury saw him lose his starting position to the in-form, Ernest Sowah.

But Annan in an interview with Sportscrusader.com said, ”he is enjoying the competition in the team and understands why he has lost his position to Sowah.”

“I am not worried about the lack of first team play though I wish to be playing always after fully recovering from injury but, no, I’m not considering leaving the team out on loan again as the management and coach has assured me of my importance to the success of the team this season,” he added.
