Defending champions, AshantiGold SC will be at home to Wa All Stars at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi as they seek to put their campaign back to order in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The Miners are 11th on the table with 13 points, and, will need points on board as soon as possible if they hope to successfully defend the title they won last season.
They have failed to win in their last three games, and, their return rate has not been good either as they have won just two games in the 12 matches they have played this season in the competition.
Coach Bashir Hayford is under huge pressure to replicate the form that saw them win the championship last season, and, will need his boys to rise up to the occasion against what will be a very determined All Stars side.
All Stars after a bright start to the season, have found the going very tough lately, having not won in their last three games.
They are third on the ladder, three points behind the leaders, Hearts of Oak, and, cannot afford to drop further back if they hope to mount a challenge for the title.
Playing against the defending champions will inspire them to perform as they go in search of their third away win of the campaign.
