Ashanti Gold has responded to Asante Kotoko’s letter seeking the services of Emmanuel Osei Carlos, Sportscrusader.com can confirm.
Osei Carlos met the General Manager of the Porcupine Warriors last week Thursday, and showed interest to join the record league champions.
Kotoko wrote to AshGold, and with only four months left on his contract, the Miners are willing to let him go for the right price.
Sources say beleaguered Bashir Hayford is not ready to renew his services, and the both the player and the club has agreed that parting ways is the best option.
It is believed Kotoko rate him at a price and will not go beyond that.
Negotiations will begin within the week and Kotoko are confident of reaching an agreement either by the end of the week or early next week.
