The world lost one its all-time great athletes over the weekend with the passing of Muhammad Ali aged 74.

The legendary boxer died on Friday night at a hospital it Phoenix, Arizona, after what his family is calling “septic shock due to unspecified natural causes.”
And one of Ghana’s and Africa’s greatest legendary boxer Azumah Nelson who met Mr. Ali on several occasions in his boxing career paid his tribute by releasing a statement which read : ” My deepest condolences and prayers are extended to his dear family and friend .. who have always stood by his Side. I Join the world In remembering I man who ignited boxing every time he stepped in the ring.”

” Muhammad was always passionate about life whether in or outside of the ring. His powerful jabs and quick moves made him undeniable champion who attracted many many fans to boxing.”
“His impact in boxing will continue. His moves are still being emulated today.Personally i remember his confidence and passion outside the ring.lets continue to pray for his family and celebrate his life as a father, friend, and a boxer who made memorable moves both outside and inside the ring,” Nelson concluded.
