Ghana"s Rugby MVP Signs For English Club

Ghana’s two time rugby Most Valuable Player, Hamza Mohammed Suleiman has signed for English based Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club on a one year deal.

The versatile Ghanaian flyer is expected to feature for the Bees in the forthcoming 2016-17 season where he can play in a number of positions.


 


Speaking to Sportscrusader.com from his base in  Birmingham, Hamza said “I thank Almighty Allah for bringing me this far in my rugby career and my family for all their support. I also want to thank  the President of the Rugby Ghana Mr. Herbert Mensah and his management for their support and help which has been massive and i am looking forward to the start of the season and the preseason which starts in July, I just can’t wait to fly the flag of Ghana high.


 


The 20 year old  back line has represented his country at 15s & 7s senior level captaining his country in the Africa Rugby 7s championship qualifiers in 2015 and he also won the  National Championship with Kumasi based Conquerors SC last season.
