Former Juventus and Netherlands midfielder, Edgar Davids has confirmed departure along with the rest of the world select side to Ghana for the Vodafone Unity Match 2016.
The game an initiative of Primeval Media and former Ghana Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah who was recently unveiled as Peace Ambassador is aimed at promoting peace and unity before, during and after the November presidential and parliamentary elections 2016.
Davids took to his Instagram account to confirm he in the company of former Arsenal and England centre back, Sol Campbell, Middlesbrough legend, George Boateng, Chelsea legend, William Gallas, Manchester United premier league, Champions League and FA Cup winner, Dwight Yorke, Liverpool legend, Emile Heskey and Cameroon and FC Barcelona international, Alex Song.

Appiah will lead the World XI side play against Ghana Premier League record champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on June 8 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and on June 11 against the Dede Ayew led Black Stars at the Accra SPorts Stadium.
