Former King Faisal shot stopper Iddrisu Ibrahim has joined Gold Stars in the Division one league.
The 23 year old former Starlets joined the second tier side on a year long loan deal ahead of the 2016 domestic football calendar.
The lanky shot stopper starred prominently for King Faisal before their relegation two seasons ago.
The acrobatic shot stopper headed to the mining club at the expense of a return to the Premiership with a host of clubs in a bidding war for his services.
Reported interest from Accra Hearts Of Oak failed to motivate the Ghana youth international to the top flight as he crossed town to Gold Stars.
Iddriss comes with rich experience from the top flight with Ashgold and the “Insha Allah” boys.
He told sports crusader, “I have agreed to join Gold Stars on a year long deal in the Division one league. They are a very well organised side and I am looking forward to joining my new team mates”.
Iddris played an integral role between the sticks for king Faisal in their failed attempts at returning to the Premiership.
