International Allies head coach, is happy with the standard of his team.
The ‘Eleven is to One’ who are in their third season since their debut in 2013/2014 Ghana premier league season have been in scintillating form in pre-season.
The veteran coach has been tasked with building a new team for the Tema side after a host of players departed for foreign leagues in the transfer window.
The club have however augmented their squad with Premier League experience with Kwame Baah and Isaac Twum joining from Heart of Lions as well as Prince Baffoe from Kotoko.
Herbert Addo who replaced Paa Kwesi Fabin is excited with the quality at his disposal, though he says it is not the level he wants it.
“I’m happy with the standard of the team technically and tactically. But we still have a lot of work to do,” the former Hearts of Oak boss told Joy FM.
“I don’t think we have a better team to start the league, I want to have a super team and by the time the league starts some of the players have really gelled,” He added.
Inter Allies have lined up two matches before the start of the new Ghana Premier league season and he is excited he has the opportunity to see his players level again.
“I am very happy because I am going to play two more high level games. It’s a thing for a Ghanaian player to be psychologically prepared before the start of the league.”
Herbert Addo rejoined Inter Allies after he was sacked by Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Ghana Premier League will commence on February 20 and Inter Allies will open their campaign against Aduana Stars at the Tema Sports Stadium.
