Leicester City Boss Confirms Ghanaian Midfielder Return Date From Injury

Schlupp’s Return Is Sooner Than Latter


Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri yesterday addressing the media and gave latest update on the injury hit, Jeffrey Schlupp.


 


The Ghanaian international, Schlupp, has been away from active football since he visited a specialist to have surgery in December after suffering a hamstring injury at training.

Addressing the media, Schlupp’s Italian coach and former Chelsea boss, “Schlupp, maybe I have to wait until the end of February,” Ranieri said when addressing reporters on the Foxes’ injury situation, “everybody else is okay.”


Schlupp has played 14 league games for Leicester this season, but is yet to start a game since returning from Ghana’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying double-header triumph over Comoros in November.


 


The Ghanaian wing-back will miss the Foxes FA Cup third round replay against Tottenham at the King Power stadium on Wednesday.
