The Ghana Football Association and Premier League Board has released fixtures for the upcoming Ghana Premier league which will commence on February 20.
After about three months delay, the FA announced February 20 as the date for the commencement of the new season and has followed up with the fixtures for the campaign.
The opening week of the season has match mouthwatering fixtures, notable among them is a clash between winners of last season’s prestigious trophies, Ashanti Gold and Medeama SC who won the Premier League Trophy and the MTN FA Cup respectively.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko who were bunldled off the title early last season, will travel to Sogakope to lock horns with West Africa Football Academy at the Sogakope Park.
Accra Hearts of Oak have dominated the headlines for the past week with off the the field brouhaha, but come February 20, they will hope all dust will be settle they take to the field to welcome New Edubaise at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Premier debutants, Techiman City Football Club and Dreams Football Club will play Berekum Chelsea and Ebusua Dwarfs respectively.
