Reigns: Kwesi Nyantakyi Retained As President




WAFU Retains GFA Boss As Chairman


The west african football union at its annual Congress voted Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi as chairman.


 


The GFA Boss contested as the incumbent but this time had stiff  opposition from Niger’s Gibrilla Amidu who pulled three votes out of 7 member votes.


 


Nyantakyi pulled 4 votes out of the possible 7 to retain his chairmanship post and lead the west african football union zone B until 2020 after the two year term was reviewed and increased to 4 –  years.
