Karela FC prolific forward Sampson Eduku has revealed his readiness to fire the division one side to the premier league ahead of the 2016 domestic season.
The teen sensation racked in 18 impressive strikes for Karela in their failed bid at joining the top flight during the 2014/15 GN Bank division one league.
The rampant forward however promised to to build on his monstrous goal scoring form to book a place in the premiership when the new season kicks off.
The trickery attacker admitted to the difficulty involved in booking a premiership slot from the second tier league but has tasked himself and the playing staff ahead of the new campaign.
The young forward relished the chance to flex muscles with the top notch strikers in the country as a motivation to seal the sole ticket to top flight football in zone II.
Speaking to sports crusader ahead of the much expected 2016 domestic season, the rampant forward promised to add to his 18 goals in a bid to seal qualifications to the top flight.
“I am highly prepared for this coming season in the Division one league because of my hard work in the off season. With support from my team mates, we are looking at a qualification to the premier league next season.
I have sharpened my scoring abilities and wants to improve on the number of goals in the coming season. I am ready to win the Golden boot in the entire league and qualify to the premier league collectively”, he revealed.
The deadly forward added,”what I did last season is now in the past and I am looking at improving every aspect of my game as a player. I want to give more than just goals for my club next season”.
Sampson Eduku won the golden boot and the player of the season at his club level with 18 impressive strikes to match as Karela ended the campaign on the fifth slot with 44 points to boot.
