Swansea City manager rules out January exit for Andre Ayew

Interim Swansea City manager Allan Curtis has ruled out any January move for Andre Ayew despite the flurry of interests from domestic rivals.

The 61 year old trainer shut the door on any potential suitor but promised adding more attacking options to the Liberty based side.

Andre Ayew joined Swansea as a free agent in the summer but has since racked in 7 impressive strikes for the struggling whites.

Liverpool leads a queue of domestic rivals in the Premiership gunning for the services of the 26 year old Ghana international after his impeccable form at the Liberty. Sunderland’s £14m official bid for the attacking wide man was mooted at by the Wales based premier league campaigners but their manager has now officially ruled out any chance of their top scorer leaving in the winter transfer.

“We don’t want to loose anyone and are trying to bring people in. I didn’t know tgere was a first bid, no one told me, but there is no way we could contemplate letting Andre go”, Allan Curtis warned.

He further added, “Andre is a big player for us. There has been talk about Sunderland but we couldn’t even entertain that as far as I am concerned”.

The summer arrival at the Liberty has since registered 7 goals in his opening 22 matches for the goal shy Swansea City on his debut campaign in English football.
