VFL Wolsburg to pounce on Patrick Twumasi

Ghanaian attacker Patrick Twumasi has reportedly top the list of wanted players at Wolsburg as a replacement to the aged Bentner.


The Astana forward shook off an early set back to announce himself to the football world with his side first ever goal in the UEFA champions league.


The 21 year old missed the chunck of Astana season but still racked four odd gosls in his six appearances.


The much sort after striker is been chased by the Wolves as a replacement for the departing Nikolas Bendtner who look set to return to his native Denmark.


The Kazakhstan based forward missed the opening three fixtures for Astana in the 2014/15 UEFA Champions league but still return to register his side first ever goal in the continental club festival.


VFL Wolsburg currently occupies the 7th place in the Bundesliga log with 26 points at the winter break in Germany.


It however remains a puzzle whether Astana will allow their prized asset to leave without putting a serious fight for contract extension.
