Kotoko Double Transfer Targets

Haven previously walked into the Ghanaian player transfer market in search of two players to beef up the squad for the second round of the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League (GPL), Asante Kotoko has revised their notes.

The management of the club now seek the signatures of four players to enhance their chances of annexing the premier league title they lost to Ashanti Gold last season.

According to Sportscrusader.com sources, the management believes there are four slots within the departments of the team and have tabled major targets to fill the voids.

The club is in the market for two ‘prolific strikers’, and two midfielders to beef Michael Osei’s current set up to ensure the team have no flaws.

This portal understands that Sadick Adams has become the Porcupine Warriors key target for the attacking department after Nathaniel Asamoah confided in interim coach Michael Osei that he lacks the sharpness that will be required by Kotoko faithfuls.

Negotiations for a creative midfielder as requested by Michael Osei is underway and the deal could be finalised by the close next week.

Due to the niggling injuries to Theophilus Nyame, the Porcupine Warriors are also in the market for a defensive midfielder, who is believe to be in the Division One to partner Stephen Nyarko.

The club is also considering finding a replacement for injured Jackson Owusu with an ‘experience defensive midfielder’. The target sources say, will be a major scoop.
