Razak Braimah Stars To End Cordoba’s Poor Run Of Matches

Experienced Black Stars custodian Razak Braimah dragged Cordoba to three crucial points after a dreadful form run of matches in the Spanish Segunda Division.

The 29 year custodian capped a hugely involving night with a series of goal bound saves to earn his struggling side a slim 1-0 win over Girona Taragona in the Spanish second tier.

Cordoba saw their promotion chances vanished into thin air after a dreadful start to the second half of the campaign.

Braimah boasted of the league’s record clean sheets in the first half but has since lost those magic gloves which proved costly for his side in the league.

The Ghanaian however returned to steady the ship in a one sided game decided by the wicked goal keeping from Razak.

A 76th minute strike by Pedro Rios won the game for Cordoba at home to Girona who rained Braimah’s goal post with series of shots.

The slim 1-0 victory was only the second win in the last 10 matches for Cordoba as they slipped out of the promotion zone in the Spanish Segunda division.
