Alhassan Saddick Targets Techiman City Scalp

Wa All Stars midfielder, Saddick Alhassan is targeting a scalp over Techiman City on Sunday when the two sides meet at the Nana Ameyaw Park.

The talented midfielder remains confident his side will silence their noisy neighbours when they take to the pitch on Sunday as they look to consolidate their place at the top of the log.

Saddick Alhassan ruled out any kind of fear factor from his side in their quest to return to winning ways after a set back at Medeama SC.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC talented midfielder envisaged a keenly contested match at the “Den’ but has tipped his side to sail through at the end of the day.

“This is football where 11 players battle each other for points on the pitch and not between supporters on the touch lines. We are coming with one thing in our minds and that is to play football and get the results at stake”, Saddick told sportscrusader.com exclusively.

The Wa All stars pass master then ruled out any intimidations away from home ahead of the game at the Nana Ameyaw Park on Sunday.

“In this modern era of football the idea of home or away really will not count. Any side can win matches on the road or at their backyards. I personally don’t believe in the idea of home or away concepts when league matches are been honoured. We have won matches away from home and this is not any different scene either”.

Techiman City have not lost a premier league fixture at the Nana Ameyaw since joining the top flight at the start of the season.

Wa All Stars head to the fixture on the back of two defeats in the opening ten matches in the season.
