In-form Andre Ends Hammers Champions League Dreams

Free scoring black Stars forward Andre Ayew ended WestHam United UEFA champions League hopes with his 11th of the campaign in a heavy away win for Swansea City.

The Swansea City hitman followed his commanding performances at home to Liverpool with another goal and an assist to end Slaven Bilic’s dream if sealing a top four slot in England.

WestHam United slumped to a surprise home reverse at the hands of the high flying visitors inspired by their Ghanaian import.

Wayne Routledge opened the scoring for the Swans before Andre doubled his sides lead with 15 minutes to recess.

South Korean import Ki Sun Yung opened a three goal advantage to the visitors before an own goal from Kingsley gave the Hammers a fighting chance.

A quick counter by the Swans attacking duo saw Andre selflessly setting up French forward Bafetimbi Gomis for the visitors fourth of the game right on the death.

Andre Ayew has since scored 11 goals in his maiden season in the Barclays Premiership.

Else in the league, Baba Rahman came on as a second half substitute for Ivanovic as Chelsea threw away three points at the Stadium of light while Jordan Ayew maintained his place in the Aston Villa set up as they held New Castle United to a pulsating stalemate at the Villa Park.
